WE DO NOT SELL OUR MAILING LIST TO ANYONE - NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL.

Popcorn International, Inc. ("Popcorn") is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its user community. The intent of this privacy policy is to detail the information Popcorn may gather about individuals who visit its Web sites, how that information is used, and Popcorn's disclosure practices. Please note that this policy applies only to Popcorn's Web sites and not to the Web sites of other companies or organizations to which we provide links.

Site Usage Information Our web servers gather "site usage" information from everyone visiting Popcorn Web sites. Such usage data is used to help determine general usage patterns and fine tune layout in order to ensure that our sites are as useful and enjoyable as possible. This "site usage" and statistical information may be made public information at Popcorn's discretion. Please note that Popcorn does not control all HTML served in conjunction with its sites. Popcorn sites may include content from other parties that may perform user activity tracking other than that described herein. In particular, some of our partners may use "cookies" in ways that we do not. In fact, Popcorn Web sites do not currently use cookies at all.

Individual User Information Individually identifiable information will not be released without that individual's prior consent. Visitors are specifically asked for individually identifiable information when placing orders, requesting samples or asking questions online.  From time to time, Popcorn may wish to contact individual users regarding community news or to make promotional offers. However, such communications will only be delivered to users who have previously approved or requested them by agreeing to be placed on our mailing list.

Disclosure Popcorn reserves the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate its systems properly or to protect itself or its users. Where practical, Popcorn will attempt to obtain the prior consent of the individual prior to disclosing individually identifiable information.  Nothing goes out our doors without a court order!
 

Popcorn Web Site Security Issues

* All pages where users provide information to us via a form are run in a secure (SSL) environment.

* If you find that a form or our catalog is not functioning, your browser or virus software may be set to disable scripts.  Either allow our scripts to run or just call us to place your order via the telephone.

* Javascript is used extensivly throughout our sties.  It is our code, written and tested in-house by our own programmers. It's safe and it's copyrighted.  Our code does not write ANYTHING to your hard drive, even in the catalog; and no cookies are used anywhere. This makes anything you enter volitile, so that when you leave a secure area of the web site (like the catalog), everything you have entered is erased from memory.  It's somewhat inconvenient because we can't recall your information when you reorder, but rest assured your session with us is safe.

* Our senior programmer spent 10 years in the banking industry working with credit card systems and ATM's, and he says it's not safe to run our credit cards online in real-time --  So we don't.  We process your credit card transaction the old fashoned way - offline.  We could save a lot of time doing these transactions online, but he's right: A few times every year you do read about some major security breach at a bank, credit card company or at a website itself.  Your credit card information is transfered directly to us via a secure SSL connection, printed with your order, and is never written to an online database by us.  We feel comfortable that this is a safe and responsible approach (if not the model of efficency) for handling YOUR credit card data.  Knock on silicon!

*  When requesting free samples or asking questions via a form, your name and other information are written to on online database, but that information is downloaded hourly and then completly removed from the internet.  Beyond this, absoutly NO information you give to Wondermat or any Popcorn International site, is EVER kept in an online database.

is a registered ® trademark of Chie Bresnan and is used under license by Popcorn International, Inc. (USA) exclusively to identify their Wondermat Retail Kiosk locations.  

The two words WONDER MAT
is a registered ® trademark of Chie Bresnan and is used under a non-exclusive licensing agreement by American Creative Team. (USA).
