Made-To-Order (M.T.O.) program Summary

Although we do stock what are historically the most popular tile size, thickness and color combinations or patterns in each of our Wondermat product lines, the truth is that we make a lot of different mat products, under a lot of different names, along with a host of unbranded OEM foam "parts" for other things.  

Being involved in the foaming of sheet EVA and PE plastics, and the fabrication that follows, for more than 12 years, we have a tremendous capacity to deliver a wide range of foam products using the whole range of foam chemistry and fabrication techniques.

, provided you were planning ahead and willing to wait for us to make them and put them on our next US bound shipment, a 6 to 8 week process, depending on production and ocean freight schedules.

When you are looking at the catalog and see a stock availability that says "Made-to-Order", that means we can make the product, but you're going to have to wait a little bit for us to make it, bring it here and then get it to you. Plan on 6 - 8 weeks lead time, depending on ocean freight schedules.

   Recognizing that our entire line of 1-Meter Sport Series tiles are on the "specialty" side of the equation and not entirely necessary for home use, we are in the process of removing these items from "Stocked" status to "Made to Order" status.

If you are ordering more than 1200 square feet of any one color, regardless of tile size, and you plan ahead (6-8 weeks), you can save about 30% off our published prices.  If we don't have to cut into our main inventory to fill large orders, we save money on warehousing and benefit by not running out of individual colors or tile sizes because someone had a stadium to cover.  It's a complete Win-Win situation if you plan ahead.

Our Made-to-Order program was originally designed to let people order mat colors that were not shown in the Catalog.  For example, we don't stock PINK 1 Inch thick Sport Series mats, but if you owned a girls tumbling or dance studio and wanted PINK 1 Inch thick Sport Series mats, you could get them, provided you were willing to wait for us to make them and put them on our next US bound shipment.

Since that has been working so well, we're expanding the use of this program to pass on some savings to people who are ordering large quantities of specific types of mats; and to take some load off our warehouse.  Recognizing that our entire line of 1-Meter Sport Series tiles are on the "specialty" side of the equation and not entirely necessary for home use, we are in the process of removing these items from "Stocked" status to "Made to Order" status.

The introduction of our new 2-foot Sport Series tiles will address the needs of most users, and that is a "Stock" item that you can order today.  For Dojo's and other large-scale installations that still want to use 1-Meter tiles, we still have the tooling and still make them, but you will have to order them in advance and expect a 4 - 8 week turn-around, depending on shipping schedule. 

It may not sound like an advantage, but it does assure that all of these big, expensive tiles come from the same batch for a perfect color, density and thickness match. 

Just by planning ahead (or being willing to wait) can save you big bucks on your large Martial Arts Sport Series or Trade Show and Exhibit Standard Series installations!
