SHIPPING & HANDLING
 

 We offer SAME DAY SHIPPING on all orders received by 12:00 PM (Pacific), with weekend and holiday orders being shipped the next business day.  The shipping prices quoted here are for FedEx Home Delivery service (for Residential addresses) and FedEx Ground service (For Business addresses).  Both services reliably deliver to all 50 US States in 1 to 6 (working) days; and FedEx Home Delivery service includes Saturday deliveries for residential customers at no extra cost.

FedEx will not guarantee delivery of oversized items any time after December 10th.  Using FedEx for residential ground deliveries for many years now, our experience is that your order will arrive in time if we receive and process it  by these dates. Happy Holidays!

 Please order the FREE Samples if you are not familiar with our products or there is any kind of doubt in your mind about color, surface texture or the thickness of any product.  The last thing we want to happen is for anyone to have to ship back a full order at their own expense.  We do NOT pay for return shipping if you place an order and we ship you what you ordered.  We know exactly how expensive shipping is, and we have pretty good discounts;  but if you have to return a full order to us, you will probably pay a lot more than we charged you.  Get the FREE Samples!
SHIPPING TIME:

How long does it take to get your order? Check the FedEx Time-in-Transit Map for a specific delivery estimate to your location. Our warehouses are in Southern California.
ORDER TRACKING:

On the day that we ship your order,  the tracking numbers assigned to each box are automatically Emailed to you by the carrier along with an estimated delivery date. Use those numbers with our FedEx Tracking Tools to follow your order as it winds its way to your location.

U.S. MAINLAND
BASE SHIPPING RATES		 Our base shipping rates are calculated using our account specific current FedEx rate data, which means our discounts are passed on to you.  Residential deliveries are calculated using FedEx Home Delivery Service and Business deliveries are calculated using FedEx Ground service. Large orders to residential addresses may be shipped via FedEx Ground to take advantage of Hundredweight or Multi-box discounts. Oversized box fees and residential delivery fees charged by FedEx are calculated into the final shipping charge.  The Fuel surcharge and Rural delivery fees charged by FedEx are paid by us.
BACKORDERED ITEMS:

The Stock Status in the Catalog is generally correct, but if an ordered tile size/color or pattern is not in stock by the time your order reaches the shipping department, you will receive an Email and a phone call from us to let you know when the requested item will be available for shipment and to see if an alternate color or pattern will work.
SHIPPING DISCOUNTS: All orders over $50.00 receive some sort of discount on the actual shipping charge. The discount is intended to offset high shipping costs on larger orders.  Shipping is a very real expense for us, but you will find that the volume discounts take the edge off the actual cost of shipping your order.
OVERSIZED AND OVERWEIGHT CARTONS: Effective March of 2007, full boxes of 1, 2, 3-Foot and 1-Meter tiles are considered "Oversized" by UPS and FedEx and are now shipped based on their dimensional weight instead of their actual weight.  This is a major change in how shipping charges are calculated, and it is reflected what we are being charged.  In response, we have reengineered several boxes to fall below the oversized threshold, and lobbied FedEx for a lower weigh threshold on these boxes for multi-weight discounts.  This will help with larger orders and will be reflected in the shipping charges as events unfold.
1, 2 and 3 DAY 
SHIPPING:		 We can provide Next Day, Two Day and Three Day service via UPS or FedEx, but be warned that these services are expensive because of the size/weight ratio of our products. APO / FPO
Addresses:		 We DO ship to APO and FPO addresses via the U.S. Postal Service.  3-Foot and 1-Meter tiles are too large to ship via the Postal Service, so we can not ship these items. Please fill out your order and send it with address information, but no payment information. Provide a valid Email address and we will email you back an exact shipping quote for your order.
Alaska, Hawaii and
U.S. Territories:		 For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands, please fill out your order and send it without any payment information. Provide a valid Email address and we will email you back an exact shipping quote for your order.
CANADA: For shipments to Canada, shipping costs are shown on the order form.  From our US warehouse to your entry point will be 2 to 5 days depending on your location, after that, you can expect a week to go through your customs service, then another day or two for it to be delivered to your address.  Be advised that Wondermat is a Non-NAFTA item, being made in Taiwan.  Additional duties will be billed, and ultimately passed on to us to pay, which is why there is a 10% duty added to orders being shipped to Canada. 
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: For other International destinations, please fill out your order and send it with address information, but no payment information. Provide a valid Email address and we will email you back an exact shipping quote for your order.
SALES ITEMS: Already discounted items from our Outlet Center or seasonal sales do not receive additional discounts in the final order process at checkout time.

 

A NOTE ON SHIPPING
AND OUR PRICES:

 We don't make any money shipping products. We make our money on our products. The President calls the entire shipping department a "money pit," because when your order's discount is subtracted from the actual shipping costs, shipping becomes an expense for us (which is why we do not charge sales tax on shipping). The truth is that shipping is expensive, and everyone has to add their shipping costs into their product one way or another, even our store accounts. We think we do a good job. We ship from our partners factories to our warehouse here and then directly to you. Compare the final cost of your mat after Shipping and Discounts (the "to-your-door cost") to any store or internet site and, for our quality of foam, we know we do a pretty good job.
